Shoreham Fort's Information Panel is unveiled on 14 September 2024

Shoreham Fort WWII Education Area: Information Panel Unveiling

We are delighted to announce the official unveiling of the Shoreham Fort WWII Education Area’s new information panel, revealed to the public on 14 September 2024 during Heritage Open Days. This panel, which includes our logo as a proud supporter, provides detailed historical context about the site and its significance during WWII.

The panel complements the sandbag barriers and Anderson Shelter that were recently completed, adding depth to the educational experience. Our collaboration on this project highlights our commitment to preserving history and educating future generations. We’re especially proud to be involved with Shoreham Fort, whose motto, "Giving history a future, by bringing history to life", resonates deeply with us.

As Sharon Penfold, the charity's Secretary, commented:

"Not many companies can say they have been a part of building an official War Memorial in our times. We’re truly grateful for your continued support."

If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, we hope you do so and immerse yourself in the incredible history of Shoreham Fort. For more information, visit Shoreham Fort or follow them on Facebook.

We’re proud to see how far this project has come and look forward to sharing more soon. Congratulations to all of the volunteers who made this project come to life!
