Sandbags.Online is the trading arm for sandbags from LC Packaging UK.

Ordering Process

Ordering from Sandbags.Online is simple and efficient. Browse for the products you need, select your preferred quantity and delivery option, and proceed to checkout. You can enter your name and delivery address as a guest, or log in if you already have an account. Choose your payment method and confirm your order.

Payment Process

All payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments, which accepts a wide range of payment methods including VISA and MasterCard.

Delivery

Orders received by 12 noon (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same day for delivery on the next business day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public/bank holidays).
Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Isle of Wight are sent on a 2–4 day service.

Orders placed after 12 noon are dispatched the next business day.

A signature may be required by the delivery company, unless prior arrangements are made.
Special arrangements apply during the Christmas and New Year period; these will be communicated at the time of ordering.

Change of Delivery Address

After an order is placed, the delivery address cannot be changed. If you spot an error before completing your payment, simply use the ‘back’ button to amend your details.

Shipping Costs

Online prices include delivery to mainland England, Wales, and Scotland (excluding the Highlands and Islands). For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and all other offshore islands, please contact us on 01406 362511 before placing your order.

Returns Policy

Goods are thoroughly inspected before dispatch. Should your goods arrive damaged or faulty, contact us immediately at info@lcpackaging.co.uk or phone 01406 362511.
You may return goods for a refund within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in perfect condition.

Sandbag Delivery Information

At LC Packaging UK, we want your sandbags delivered on time and with minimal hassle. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure a smooth delivery.

🚚 How We Deliver

Standard Delivery:
Orders placed by 12 noon (Monday to Friday) are shipped on a standard 24-hour service (weekdays only). Deliveries arrive between 9am and 6pm. While we can’t guarantee an exact time, drivers often call ahead.

Pallet Deliveries:
All sandbags are delivered by pallet, using a national pallet network. Most orders arrive on an 18t or larger vehicle with a tail lift. For restricted access, we can request a smaller 7.5t vehicle - please notify us in advance.

🏡 Access & Vehicle Types

  • Restricted Access:
    A 7.5t lorry with tail lift can deliver a maximum of 45 sandbags per pallet due to tail lift weight restrictions.
    For larger orders, suitable access for bigger vehicles is required.

  • Forklift or Tail Lift?

    • Arctic lorry with forklift: Any pallet load, up to 80 sandbags per pallet

    • Arctic lorry with tail lift: Up to 65 sandbags per pallet (if access allows and no forklift on site)

    • 7.5t lorry with tail lift: Maximum 45 sandbags per pallet

  • Flat & Stable Surface Required:
    The delivery vehicle must park on a flat, solid surface. For gravel, uneven, or sloped drives, the pallet may need to be left at the kerbside.

📝 Special Instructions

Please use the Notes box at checkout to:

  • Request a specific delivery date

  • Provide directions, What3Words, or other helpful information for the driver

🤝 On the Day

  • No need to assist with unloading. The driver will unload and place the pallet where possible, but only on level ground.

  • If you’re unavailable, the driver will leave your order in a safe location where possible.

  • Pallet deliveries are always kerbside as standard. The driver cannot remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away.

  • We guarantee kerbside delivery only.

Delivery Surcharges

Delivery is free to most UK postcodes. Some areas - including parts of Scotland, Wales, Devon, Cornwall, and the islands - may carry a surcharge. We’ll confirm this with you when you order.
